explored over a prolonged period of time, as there is so much to explore and do. If you’re heading down to

Miami, Florida, for a vacation, here are some of the top places in Miami you don’t want to miss:

South Beach

South Beach is the Miami you see on postcards, in magazines, in movies and in adverts. South Beach is known

as the Art Deco playground of the city. The area is full of buildings that follow the old-style Art Deco style of

architecture.

The beach here has been said by many to be the best beach in the country, if not the world. There are some great

bars, boutiques and restaurants at South Beach. Espanola way is a famous street where you can do some

shopping and dining, Spanish style. Many tourists love to explore South Beach with a Segway. A Segway can

be rented at a local travel company.

Miami Airport

Miami Airport itself is a big attraction. The art at the airport is worth exploring and the area around the airport

has some of the city’s best attractions. If you enjoy golfing, the Melreese Golf course located near the airport is

one of the best golf courses in the state. If you want to spend an entire day having fun with your family, you

may want to pay a visit to Grapeland Water Park. The park is tiny, but great for kids.

The Miami Design District

Located above Midtown district in Miami, the Design District is known for its art galleries and high-end

shopping boutiques. Over 130 unique galleries, antique dealers, showrooms and creative services can be found

in this district. If you have a thirst to browse unusual or new-age art, Design District is the place for you. The

area also has luxury boutiques, like Prada and Louis Vuitton, that are worth checking out, evening if you end up

wiping your entire savings account.

Miami Homestead

Homestead is where the famous Homestead-Miami Speedway is located. The final NASCAR race is held at the

Speedway each year. The Fruit & Spice Park in the area is a favorite with the tourists. The Park has more than

30 acres of exotic plants and fruit and spice-bearing trees from around the world. You can see unusual trees like

sausage trees here, as well as taste many unusual fruits from trees growing in far-away countries.

The list of places we’ve given here is, of course, just the beginning. There are plenty of other areas you need to

visit, including the Everglades, Downtown Miami, Little Havana, Coral Gables, and Key Biscayne. The list is

nearly endless. The easiest way to catch everything the city has to offer is to sign up a sightseeing tour of Miami

with an experienced travel agency.
